ROBUS products were recently used to fit out Carrickmines Park shopping centre and car park in Dublin, Ireland. Carrickmines Park fist heard of ROBUS through their local electrical wholesaler who also put them in contact with Electrical Contractor Jamie Mahony from Mahony Energy Solutions.
The main area in need of a lighting update was the carpark. High output lighting was needed for the large carpark that was completely covered. Carrickmines Park were looking for high quality, durable light fittings that they could rely on. The recently launched ROBUS HARBOUR LED CORROSION PROOF was chosen because of its optimum LED performance and reliability due to the high quality Tridonic constant current driver within the product. LiFePO4 battery technology in this fitting results in prolonged emergency duration, extended discharge/charge cycles, and low weight. Over 1,100 ROBUS HARBOUR 28W Battens were fitted altogether. As you can see from the images, these fittings work perfectly in this carpark and provide optimum lighting for the dark space.
Carrickmines Park also updated their emergency exit signs. The ROBUS EBLANA EMERGENCY LED BULKHEAD was chosen because it looks good and makes huge savings in electricity running costs and maintenance compared to traditional fluorescents which will result in future savings for Carrickmines Park Shopping Centre.
ROBUS GOLF LED fittings were selected for the driveway into the carpark. These fittings use the latest Surface Mount Diode LED technology combined with the ROBUS high efficiency Pro-diffuser and they are IP rated making them suitable for outdoor use.
Inside the shopping centre, the ROBUS VEGAS LED Flexi-Strip was installed along some perimeters of the ceiling. The RGBW version was chosen to add a pop of colour if and when necessary. See it lit in green in image below. It can also be changed to red, blue or white.
Overall, Carrickmines Park were very happy with their new ROBUS fittings. The upgrade to the ROBUS HARBOUR LED CORRROSION PROOF in particular has made a huge impact in transforming the carpark.
